Alternative newsweekly the Boston Phoenix recently released it's nationally acclaimed annual list of the 100 Unsexiest Men of 2007. Donald Trump takes top honors.
Other notables: Ted Haggard. The Geico Caveman. Ann Coulter (finally!). Robert Novak. Karl Rove. And the Fat Guy from Borat (who is not played by Dick Cheney after all, although the veep also makes the cut).
What might a local list look like? Some suggestions:
Former Congressman and gubernatorial candidate Bob Beauprez, who we'll never again be able to look upon without thinking of a horse's ass.
State legislators Rep. Kevin Lundberg, Sen. Scott Renfroe and Sen. Dave Schultheis, for being anti-sex, which is so unsexy.
Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave for ascribing to the prudish men's club listed above and for her uncanny likeness to Cheney (in visage and build, at least). Her nomination supplements the Coulter contingent.
I'll stop there before the Chronicle reporters start lobbing days-old cupcakes into my office for writing so irreverently about their official sources, but emailed nominations are encouraged...
