Money magazine doesn't think Fort Collins is the best place to live anymore (new guidelines make us too big at 130,000), but we are, apparently, No. 17 when it comes to who's skinniest.
Louisville (the one in Boulder County) is ranked third best place to live and Durango (La Plata County) is third skinniest.
I don't personally know any Money readers (at least any who admit it), but I know I'm not alone in celebrating our fall. To the folks who couldn't stop saying "We're No. 1," or some variation: for you, the city has a new branding plan in the works, and we're meeting with the PR office to hear their presentation tomorrow. I anticipate lots of snark, silliness and general lambasting will follow.
