We think we have a solution. The Larimer Humane Society has companionship ready to take home today. Let's meet a few of them.
Meet Cami A249120. That's not Cami's email address, but Cami's number like a prisoner. Yes, while only seven weeks old, this unaltered female rat is held back from leading the life of love a rat can. Everyone loved Ratatouille show it by giving Cami a home.
If Cami is not your thing, perhaps try No-name A240734, a green turtle and red-eared slider. Or Robert A246154, an unaltered bantam rooster.
Then, of course, there are the more conventional "pets," like Sidda A248140 (left). She is one of 22 kitties looking to escape to a better life on the outside. The wisdom in her eyes belies the four years she's been pouncing on Earth. She promises not to pee on your couch.
Then there's Buford A249173 (right). He's a German wire-haired pointer and one of four pooches available. He looks like a goof, right? But he's a pointer. Lots of people need shown the way, and Buford A249173 is here to do it. He's looking for a best friend and promises to pretend to be excited when you get home from work.
You don't need me to tell you what will happen to Cami, Sidda and Buford if they don't find a home soon. It's not a happy ending, folks. Governor Ritter won't be making a call on Buford's behalf. This need not happen! Folks need companions, and these companions need folks! Make it happen.
