One of our editorial policies at the Chronicle is to keep upcoming stories shielded from the public as best we can until the date of publication. Lots of reasons for this policy, obviously, but I'm going to push on it today since I'm way too wrapped up in transcribing an interview for this week's cover, which is late because I swapped it for a story that needs more time to develop. In the end, this one is more timely, so it's working out after all. Still, I'm too busy to post more than this pic. It's a hint of what's to come on Thursday...
