On June 8, Rep. Marilyn Musgrave bragged of helping move forward a bill that would reduce the tax burden on precious metal investments.

"Seniors, in particular, invest in medal coins and bars such as sliver, gold, platinum and palladium because they provide financial stability," states a press release.

What the release didn't say was: "Seniors, such as my family."

According to financial disclosure forms released recently, her husband Steve Musgrave owns "precious metals/coins" valued between $50,001 and $100,000.
