Working in an office that stands between the Avery House and St. Joseph's Parish generally provides some sort of distraction on a near daily basis.
Today we have this incredibly cute bear. He's too high in the tree to shoot with a tranquilizer so everyone's just waiting for him to wake up from his nap...

I had a friggin' bear near my house more than a week ago. Friggin' copycats!
If the news media had not turned the matter into a circus the bear would have probably left on its own accord. Now it has been tagged, which means it is marked for death.
