Coupla campaign ads

First, there's this follow-up to the Huckabee x-mas card. Some are suggesting the bookshelf in the background forms a cross intentionally, but certainly the dropping of the C-word is calculated.





Here's what Ron Paul had to say about the ad in Time:


“It reminds of what Sinclair Lewis said, ‘When fascism comes to this country, it will be wrapped in the flag, carrying a cross.’ Now I don’t know if that’s a fair assessment or not but you wonder if he is using the cross like he is the only Christian or implying it subtly. I don’t think I would ever use anything like that.”


Then there's this darling Giuliani ad, just as his campaign starts concentrating on Florida rather than New Hampshire since all the money he funnels into the NH primary and his increased exposure has only hurt him in the polls:
