Don't blame me, I voted for Ralph
On last night's "The Simpsons," Homer decides to show his annoyance with the local primary and the presidential candidates by getting a huge chunk of Springfieldians to vote for a write-in candidate, specifically Ralph Wiggum, who then wins the primary and becomes an overnight frontrunner.
And last week in Iowa, conservative Christians decided to show their annoyance with the local primary and the presidential candidates by getting a huge chunk of evangelicals to vote for Mike Huckabee, who then won the primary and became the overnight GOP frontrunner.
Which is scarier? Well, Ralph is antiwar ("What's a battle?") and pro-education and pro-environment ("When I grow up I want to be a principal or a caterpillar.").
Let the comparisons begin...
