Country-folkie Matt Campbell’s first artistic venture back in town is tonight’s CD release party. Along with a set from him and his Bottom Line Band, he’s selling a dual EP titled In the Town/The Other Side of Town, which features a relaxed, old-time country vibe and John Magnie of The Subdudes on piano. The limited edition discs are $20, and the money will fund a wider release. Support a fine, re-localized artist tonight at the Swing Station, 3311 W. County Road 54G in LaPorte, starting at 9 p.m. The cover is $5.
