Tonight on Imagine Action, a live, one-hour talk show on KRFC, 88.9FM, I'll be discussing the potential "partnership" of the Rocky Mountain Collegian, Colorado State University's student-run newspaper, and the Fort Collins Coloradoan, the Gannett-owned daily newspaper. Show starts at 6 p.m., with former Collegian editors host John Gascoyne and Bear Gephardt.
With any luck I'll finish up my editing duties on this hectic press day to finish another reading of "The Chain Gang: One Newsapaper Versus the Gannett Empire," by Richard McCord, the founder of the award-winning alternative Santa Fe Reporter. That's really ambitious at this point.
