Where busing is a way of life

The Chronicle is launching a contest to redesign the Fort Collins' city logo -- check out page 12 of the current issue or stand by and we'll have details online soon. Winners get T-shirts and some great gift certificates to Matter Bookstore or Fish Restaurant.

Meanwhile, locals can also make some money with a clever bus name:

(Abridged from a press release)
The North Front Range Metropolitan Planning Organization (NFRMPO) is offering a $250 prize to the winning entry of the "Name the Bus Contest" for the new bus route traveling between Greeley and Loveland on State Highway 34.

The winning entry will be selected by a three-member panel selected by the NFRMPO Planning Council. A logo will be created that incorporates the name shortly after thewinning entry is selected. ONE ENTRY PER PERSON. DEADLINE IS MARCH 28. APPLICANTS MUST LIVE IN WELD OR LARIMER COUNTY.

The new bus route will begin daily service between Greeley and Loveland along State Highway 34 starting this May. The route will serve popular destinations such as The Shops at Centerra, The Medical Center of the Rockies, and the Greeley mall.

How about "The Odor Roller"? Or maybe "The McWhinneyWagon"?
